2009 News

Nehama Patkin, Victorian Ambassador for Australia Day appointed by the Australia Day Council.

This year Nehama Patkin was one of 126 Ambassadors who were sent to a particular community to give an address and give appropriate hand outs depending on the occasion - eg there were some Citizenship ceremonies, and various Australians of the Year for the particular community and even new babies from 2008 were presented with plaques.

Nehama was sent to Tarnagulla, near Bendigo and part of the Golden Triangle. There had been a literary competition and coloring competition for the kids as the town only has a Primary School. And of course there was a Sausage Sizzle!

2009 Workshops

Nehama can be booked for Workshops, Master classes, private lessons, Pre-exam coaching.

Some recent feedback from a recent workshop for Piano teachers:

  • Wonderful information and particularly enjoyed the motivational ideas for lessons and and the animated imagination of Nehama
  • Well worth the 300km trip  -  gained a great insight of the Series 16 piano pieces (AMEB)
  • Beautiful, graceful, expressive playing. So much to pick up on. Very helpful games to keep up student interest
  • A most enlightening and inspiring day
  • A great way to understand the new syllabus (Series 16 AMEB) and be inspired.
